They use very little wood (so much more environmentally sensitive) and provide a concentration of heat to cook on. Fast and efficient. My friend makes his by up-cycling metal objects, such as washing machine drums, and he has made large ones for multi-person cooking at a communal allotment and mini-ones for taking camping. As most of us arent that handy, a reasonably priced bought one might be a great addition to the shop. Rocket stoves are wonderful!
